幼少の頃から歌うことが好きで、シンガーを目指す為上京、専門学校にて本格的に音楽を学ぶ。
在学時に聴いたGospelの演奏に感銘を受け、Blackミュージックに傾倒するようになり、その後アメリカロサンゼルスの教会でゴスペルアンサンブル演奏に参加、リードボーカルを務める。
また、鈴木雅之氏やゆず、SMAPなど、数々の著名アーティストのバックコーラス、レコーディングを経験。
現在はシンガーソングライターとして活動し、主にR&BやNeo soulの作品を手掛けている。
2017年にはボーカル&ピアノユニット『The Mode』を結成し、これまで『Heaven』『Drown』『Geometry』の3枚のアルバムをリリース。
2020年に発表したシングル『I wanna be
your home』はTower Recordが運営するサブミッションメディア"TOWER DOORS"にて取り上げられ、週間ランキング2位を獲得。
また自身のソロ活動にも力を入れており、ボーカルと作詞を担当した2021/5/12に配信した楽曲「Sight」はSpotify、Apple Musicの公式プレイリストに選出され合計10万回再生を記録するなど好評を博した。
Judith HillやRob baconなど海外アーティストとの共演も経験し、2023年11月にはドバイ,UAEにて行われたジャパンカルチャーコンに出演。中東最大級のメディア「Gulf Nesw」に取り上げられ絶賛されるなど、今後国内外で活躍するであろう若手ボーカリストの注目株の一人である。
Atsuno is a Japanese singer and songwriter.
She moved to Tokyo to become a singer and studied music earnestly at a vocational college. She was impressed by the Gospel performances she listened to when she was in college and was devoted to Black music. And she participates in ensemble performances at churches in Los Angeles, USA, as the lead vocalist.
She also started her career as a solo artist after experiencing being a back-up vocalist and recorded many famous artists such as Masayuki Suzuki and Yuzu.
In 2017, she formed the piano and vocal unit "The Mode" and released three albums: ``Heaven'', ``Drown'', and ``Geometry''.
The single “I wanna be your home” released in 2020 was featured on the submission media “TOWER DOORS” operated by Tower Record and ranked 2nd in the weekly ranking.
In addition to that, the song "Sight", which was released as Atsuno on May 12, 2021, in which she was in charge of vocals and lyrics, was selected for the official playlist of Spotify and Apple Music and has been played for a total of 100,000 times. It received favorable reviews.
She is one of the hottest young vocalists who will be active both domestically and internationally in the future, having experienced co-starring with famous artists such as Judith Hill and Rob Bacon and in November 2023, she performed at Japan Culture -Con in Dubai, UAE. She has been featured in Gulf News, one of the largest media outlets in the Middle East, and has received rave reviews.
